Well, these days here in America a lot of children aren't brought up by any one because of single parents who have to work or both parents have to work to make ends meet or both parents work so the family can have a fine home, several cars, boats, fine club memberships and sometimes maybe even a fleet of restored farm tractors. It's important that every working person put in 60 or more hours at their work per week because that's the only way employers can afford them, to maximize productivity, and the benefits cost so much. The bottom line is, few parents seem to put a whole lot of effort into raising their children for a multitude of reasons. The television, movies, internet, and influences of peer groups raise children now. Even diligent parents have a tough time getting their kids raised right because there are so many other influences the kids are exposed to every day. We've come a long way here in the USA, haven't we?
