Whats with this lift thing?

I have a pneumatic or exhaust lift with a vertical cylinder. Is it any good? Do I really need it if I put a belly mower on my 40 A? It is way ugly and I want just lever to pull the mower up if I need to.

What is the torque for the oil pan bolts? and my left rear wheel leaks oil at the end of the axle near the wheels. The corners of what looks like a cap on the axle casting for two of the 4 bolts are cracked off but the rest looks fine. I think the bolts were all loose and I tighteneed them up. Maybe it will quite leaking now that they are tightened. Do I need to worry about the cracked corners about 3/4 of the bolt head is still on the casting.

Is it normal for my radiator to steam when I have the radiaotr cap off? My coolant is low because I dumped a bunch on the ground when taking off the radiatr to put a new fan assembly on it. It gushed out and I filled it up to about 3-4 inches from the top.

My oil pan bolts were loose and tightened them but just snug and not really hard.

What do I do now? Scott A
