I think the shaft throught the crank hole would work excellent if you could find a good U-joint that could handle the speed. What I would like to do (if there is enough room) is to use a V-belt pulley on the crankshaft and mount the pump below the engine - fairly well out of sight. If I can't find a way to mount it below I will probably go off to one side and try to make a nice mount for it. Of course, maybe I will get used to not having live power and not have to add anything to it too. Steven
