What kind of condition is the rest of the tractor in? If it is in good shape, with good sheet metal, paint, and tires, than it may be worth fixing the trans. and TA. If that's all that needs fixing, you will not be doing bad at all with a good working 131 hp. tractor for $5500. Around here, good 1456's still can sell for $7500+. If it's pretty beat up and you plan to eventually sell it, than it might not be worth your time and money.
