I have seen several posts wanting to know how to check the oil level when you no longer had a dip stick. Went out today and measured mine. HERE IS THE SCOOP on how to make your very own. You will need a a piece of 1/8" rod 12" long and a fender washer that is 3/4" in diameter. Attach the fender washer 1/2" from one end of the rod. Make a mark with a file 2" from the other end. (You are done) The fender washer will keep the rod (now dip stick) from droping into the body of the lift all and will still allow the cap to screw on. The 1/2" of rod sticking above the washer gives you something to get a hold of. The mark at the 2" level is the FULL mark. There was no ADD mark on the orginal. GOOD WRENCHING
