Help with C Touch Control

My C's touch control won't hold a load up with out jumping and jerking. I tried working out the air by working the levers up and down with the fill plug off but that didn't help much. Also when I shut it off it drops the implement right away. I noticed that there's a hydraulic oil leak under the touch control. Like its coming down from the cylinders? When I was running it today I noticed that the hydraulic pump and lines were hot after I had been trying to work the air out. Is it normal for it to get hot like this? What is involved in a repair for this? Thanks, Tim
