Here goes: purchased a 300u put about 20 hrs on it and noticed that the seals were gone on the pump and hydraulic fluid was being pumped into the case. Purchased new pump from national reconditioned part supplier, installed it, put approx 20hrs on tractor again the seals were failing and fluid was being pumped into the case. Returned for new pump dimantaled entire hydraulic system noticed that the screen on the pick-up in the hydraulic resivoir was trashed, replaced, checked screen in check valve installed 3rd pump pu less than 1hr on tractor failed seals! What have I missed, done wrong or is there a problem i'm not seeing?
