what to buy

I have recently bought 22 acres in Missouri and am looking to buy a tractor to do use a brush hog, and blad mainly maybe some other little things, nothing bi.. I have been looking at some old farmalls and anm just not sure what to do. I have found one guy who has both an 'h' and and 'm' neither has run for several years and the h has been out side considerable longer than the m. it has had a lot of the sheet metal taken off but he does have it and is easily put back on, it has just wheathered a little harder than the m. I don't see any leeks and it has been converted to 12 volt. the M as I said looks better in appearance, but has a cracked exhaust manifold. He does have another m he uses for parts in which he said I could rob one from to fix and he is working this weekend to get them both started so I can come back next weeek and look at them again.. he wants 500 for the 'h' and 1000 for the 'm' and he has a 3 pt hitch I can buy for 200 with all they hydraulics. I am kind of at a standstill as to what to do, on one hand the 'h' loks like it would take a littel more work as far as putting the sheet metal back on and some clean up work, but then I wonder if the 'm' may be too big.. Can you give me any insight into this dilema. thanks chris
