Okay... nothing really damaged except for my ego... but a few years ago I was taking my girlfriend (now wife) to our family's farm. The farm is about 5 miles from any paved road. I was taking the short cut, knowing that it had rained a little, but just about the time I started sliding off of the road, I figured out that it had rained a lot. I had a 2wd, was buried to my frame, and had no cell phone. Needless to say the closest neighbors 3 miles away were nice enough to pull me out with their tractor. Now with her suggestion, even though I have a 4x4, we take the long way there.
