On my A, which has a Mott mower the pulley is attached via the draw bar. There is a two belt pulley (about 12 inch dia. ) on the pto in the same direction of the axils. The pulley which picks up those two belts is attached to a shaft which has another pulley. This Second pulley goes off to the mower. Hope that helps.
