Hi
Wanted to say thanks for all the answers to my post on the tightining of the rim on the axel to stop tire wobble.

We loosened the studs in the center that goes into the half moons off and then drew them up slow a bit at a time alternating the studs as we tightened untill they were all tight and even space inbetween the halfmoons and axel. That took pretty well all the wobble out of one tire but the other still had a bit in it. So we went to the next step and loosened the hub bolts to the rim and kept spinning the tire with a 6X6 peice of wood next to the botton of a tire to see where the wobble was as we tightened up the bolts. Finally that tire was turning pretty straight also. Drove the tractor down the road and back with one person watching and both tires seemed to have lost most of the wobble now. What little that there is left I guess we will have to attribute to the old rims or the new tires being out a little, or maybe fluid in the tires? We can live with that little bit of wobble.
thanks again
Terry
