Wife is out of town and she doesn't need to know about the new "B" that I snuck home with. That was the plan but with rain in the forcast today and no room left in the other buildings her garage was the only place left to go with it.

Went to an estate sale yesterday and there it was sitting there in show room condition. This was the only tractor the gentleman had owned. After I was the high bidder and loading the "B", three neighbors came up to me and ask what I was going to do with the "B". They were glad to hear it was going to a collection and told me the following story about the tractor,

Seems as though the "B" had only been wet once since it was new. The gentleman had been mowing and run out of gas. He walked to the house for more gas, it was lunch time. He got the gas but also stoped to eat lunch. While he was eating lunch a rain squall came through. All three of the neighbors agreeded that he was really upset with himself for allowing it to rain on the "B".

Now I ask you. With a story like that how could be wife get upset about using her garage for the new "B"??????????????

Today's Featured Article - Box Plow Blues - by Tom Schwarz. One of the first implements most tractor owners obtain is the box plow. For very little money, this piece of equipment promises to plow and flatten any hill or vale on your ranch road or farm. At least that's what I thought! As simple as a box plow appears, it can be rather challenging to make work correctly. In our sandy soils of Florida, traction is king. You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U ... [Read Article]
