I recently acquired a set of steel front wheels for a Farmall H. Each is about 100 pounds and has a turning rim mounted to each of them. The inner races are in very bad shape on one of them. It looks like the race on the inner bearing surface is gone and the part the race lays on is badly rusted. Can this be replaced or fixed? The place the race lays is very rusted. Somebody said it could be cut out and a new one hammered home. Does anybody out there fix these heavy cast wheels? Is it something I can do or do I need to seek professional help? (For the tire mind you, not my brain!)Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks for the info!
