Last year was about average. We have 1000 acres. 900 was wheat and 100 was corn for feed for our 150 head of cattle. The wheat averaged 40 bushels per acre, with as high as 65 bushels an acre in some fields. The corn was around 75 bushels/acre. Now, before anyone prods about low production, average yield for wheat in our area is at 25 bu/acre. Not sure what corn is supposed to be, but few people get 100 bu/acre. AND we put down about 90 pounds actual anhydrous and 75 pounds dry fertilizer. Corn got 140 lbs anhydrous. This is continous cropping (5+ years), minimum till. Our yields are right on par with the big boys that have 50 foot air seeders and GPS systems. We seed with the 1086 and 28 feet of CaseIH hoe drills. Anhydrous with 2590 and 26 feet of anhydrous spikes.

So far haven't messed with soybeans or any specialty crop, may try canola one of these years.
