I hear that! About 28 years ago I started my Champion learning with Honda 100's and 90's. More than once we got some tuneup stuff, fixed up the bike and it either ran crappy or not at all. You know in a hurry if a one cylinder doesn't run right. Once afterward a tuned no start we dug an Autolite literally out of the mud, blew the crud out it, gapped it and it ran great. I'm still seeing similar running problems with Champion's more than any others. Kinda like the sludge from Pennzoil, nothing else gets as bad.
