We still run a couple of A's on our vegatable farm along with cubs and a 140. When you drive these tractors you will always hear some trany noise. Now i am not saying it is banging and clanging, however you do hear noise and it is more pronouced if you are going down a slight grade or something. These tractors are almost bullet proof....we run them hard year in and year out. Also we offten hear a noice when shifting into a gear and reverse is always the worst one. If you change the gears slow its even worse. I have not noticed that this noise comes from anything being wrong. Just letting you know what they usually do sorry i couldn't be more specific
