Boog, If you did not install a priority valve with your power steering unit, neither it or your hydraulic system will function. Each system returns fluid to the reservoir at very low pressure loss when in neutral. If you pull back on your Lift-All rod and simultaneously turn the steering wheel, you should once again hear the engine pull down slightly. If both are not done simultaneously, the other allows the fluid to return to reservoir at the low pressure. The priority valve splits off a predetermined flow for the power steering. In the case of a power steering priority valve, this will be 4-4.5 gpm at 900-1000 psi. All excess fluid will be diverted to the secondary circuit, which will be your power lift. If you have a priority valve, then something has malfunctioned or is connected incorrectly.
