Most of us on this forum have been where you're at and thought long and hard about the money we put into a tractor. Depends on if you think with your head, or your heart. Depends on if your money comes out of the hay you make or your therapy fund. Depends on if you're rescuing some old tractor for you and your grandkids to ride in a parade. I'm in the middle of a rebuild on my Super C and I had to go to the barn and sit on a bucket and think for a long, long time on how far to go or when to call it quits. Depends. The other posters here have given you good numbers and it sounds to me like fixing the gasket would be worth a few bucks. Good luck, and let us know what you find. RedTed/MO.
