Lug nut/bolt ?

Looking for opinions on coarse vs. fine threaded lugs. I'm not going nuts on originality, but I do like the look of square-headed bolts where they ought to be. My BN parts book calls for coarse threaded bolts, front and rear, and I just got them from McMaster-Carr ( high-school shop did a rebuild for Grandpa some years ago and put hexes on one side--they saved enough square for one rear wheel, everything else they replaced with Grade 8 hex.) My SuperC, on the other hand, calls for fine threads. McMaster didn't have those in a square head in 5/8 and 1/2. Am I borrowing trouble, like lugs spinning off (given the high rate of speed at which my SUperC conducts itself!)? Any other potential problems come to mind? McMaster's square heads are Grade 2. Could that be a problem? Just generally exploring the subject. Thanks for any thoughts. Scotty
