used to run Grandpas lo boy with a woods 59 deck. Seemed it ran slow, but we ran into problems if the grass was too high. the front wheels would mash the grass down and the mower wouldn't pick it back up to cut so it left streaks. I would cut it more often and at a low forward speed with higher engine rpm. Also watch your direction. you want the blades to hit the grass on the inside at the opposit direction they did on the last pass. I always let the front wheel of the tractor run in the cut part also so it would overlap some. Woods does make blades that have a high suction, that is the back of the blade kicks up higher. Those may help , but I think you are just cutting grass that is too high to start with. Grandpa sold his lo boy and got a Kubota with a woods 59 deck and we had the same "problems" with that one even though the blades sound like a tornado under the deck on that tractor.
