Hey Newbie, 1937 was a good year for the f-20. There were more of them produced in 37 or 36 than the other years. a lot of improvements were made in 37 (full governor, radiator shutters,) does yours have the welded steel tank stands that hold the tank above the transmission and bellhousing? I had a 37 with factory road gear(4th was not straight back from neutral) and factory foot brakes that looked a little like H foot brakes. yes the throttle is supposed to be on the left side. my 36 throttle is on the side of the steering shaft with the spark advance. The f-20 was designed for steel wheels so you will see all size rubber tires on it. My f-20 has 36x8 F&H round spoke rears with 11.2-36 tires, 16in. F&H round spoke fronts with a 4 in. lift spacer in the bottom of the pedestal to make the tractor sit more level. The f-20 is easy to maintain, and can be useful around any large yard or small farm. If you keep it maintained, it will always start when the electric start tractors won't budge, even in the coldest weather. there were a lot of after market parts and improvements available for the f-20, the most common was the cold manifold. you can get help and advice here at this site any time.....
