Well, where do you start, and where do you stop on a topic like this? Back in the 50s when I was a kid and almost every farm around here had an H, M, or both, you could walk into the local IH dealership and see dozens of items on the counter or the wall that were designed to improve a tractor in some manner. Lots of these were IH-produced, many were manufactured elsewhere and sold by the IH dealer. Other suppliers such as Tractor Supply Co. in that era had pages of aftermarket items listed for different makes and models of popular tractors.
There were so many of these tractors, and so many uses for them, that I'm sure there were items sold in various parts of the country that were not popular (or useful) in others.
It should also be mentioned that the H and M models were so similar in basic design to later units produced by IH that many of these tractors were upgraded with "aftermarket" parts that were standard equipment on the "Super" models as well as later units.
Here's the list I could think of, with apologies for mentioning some of the items in previous posts:

Engine:

Overbore kits –thinwall sleeves / high compression pistons
Dual throat manifolds
Dual throat carburetors
Long-stroke crankshaft
Governor – various brands
LP gas conversions
Block heaters for cold weather – stud bolt, magnetic, tank, etc.
Manifold water/alcohol injection
Gear-reduction starter

Transmission/final drive:

9-speed – M&W / Heisler
High speed 3rd-4th gears, as in SM and later
Heavy-duty bearings – as in 560
Hand clutch attachments- various
Clutch linkage extension to lower pedal pressure

PTO – M&W hand clutch for “live” pto (also provided “live” hydraulics from lift-all pump, but gears could not be shifted using this clutch)
Over-running clutch

Steering:
Wide front
Power Steering – Behlen and Charlynn
Wedge for lower bolster to change caster
Anti-kickback steering wheel/hub combination
Spinner knob for steering wheel

Misc:

Brake lock improvements and control rods
PTO engagement lever – on right side of seat, controled pto engagement rod
Seat – various brands and types
Friction throttle lever
Umbrella
Heat-houser, Cab-Ette and other canvas weather housings
3-pt hitch
“Super-Snoot” elevated air intake for grill – used with mounted corn picker
Hour meter
Screw-on oil filter
Dual wheels – hub and clamp-on type
Toolboxes – various types
Wheel weights – various types - cast iron, water tank, etc.
Oversize rims and tires
Radio
Additional lights
Mufflers/rain caps – various
Pre-cleaners for air intake
Extensions for fender mounts
Gas caps - various
Clip to hold grease gun
Hitch pin contol from seat – various types

Hydraulic:

Live pump on distributor shaft
Two-way control valves
PTO-driven high volume pump

And I supppose you could add things such as tire chains, implements such as loaders and sprayers, etc.
