H Seats

How many different types of seat styles were there for the model H? I notice the one on my 45 H is kind of a curved tube, with the short spring bolted down in front. (I think it is a kind of tool holder built in also). I heard the smoothest type were the big spring with cylinder kind, but the spring could break and leave you hanging by the seat of your pants. Just curious, thanks,,, Bernsy
