Maybe this will help. A couple years ago, I painted two identical tractors (Cubs) with 2150. The first was without hardener, the second with. The hardener made it a little easier to get a good gloss, and set up a little sooner, but there isn't really any difference in the final appearance. The one with hardener seems to chip easier, and DEFINITELY less resistant to fuel spills. I agree with IH for not recommending hardener. Another factor...the hardeners are more harmful to your health. George Willer
