I appreciate the info from the 30 or so guys that sent messages back. Very informative. havent read them all yet. I have come to one conclusion, yes the Dollar is too high in relation to other currerancies. (I have known this for years) but the federal reserve and the government are too scared to print extra dollars and cause a little inflation.)(the feds are idiots too by the way) I Will say that one other reason that farming is a difficult occupation to be in is that food in this country is too cheap, and the american farmer suffers, Also if food were to cost more less fat people would exist, right! I agree with the guy from WY, dont leverage yourself, because acts of god can crush you finacially. And farming probably needs to be your second job. I dont plan on getting into farming but was curious about the state of farming in USA..
