H or Combine motor?

Trying to cut corners... 1940 Farmall H, Block was rusted solid, inside and out, found a motor in my uncle's garage that was overhauled completely 25 years ago by my late Grandpa, it's never been run but it turns free. (he cranks it over once a year when he walks by it) My uncle isn't sure if the motor came out of an "H" or a combine. The motor looks real similar to my other H's. I do have the serial numbers off the head and block, are there cross reference books to see if it will fit? or what's the next move? Brad
