Hi Guys, I have been recommended this site by a friend of mine and he says if anyone can help, it will be all of you. Anyway, my situation is that I have a 1952 H that was bought brand new. At the time it was bought, the S/H was already on the show room floor beside it, so mine is a very late one. Before it left, they put in an M&W 9 speed in it. Mine is the side rod shift, not the cable. On the bottom end (where the PTO comes in), I am in need of 4th gear, which has 5th gear on the inside of it. I know the company is gone because I live in the town where M&W is now. However, all the "old timers" are gone. Are parts available for this through anyone or does someone have what I am looking for? I actually use the tractor a lot, not for restoration. Right now, I simply don't have 4th and 5th gear, with 3rd and second being tore up pretty good (ie: coming out of gear as I am pulling down hill). I can go ahead and put it back in and be fine, but to have it nice and complete and have a few more gear options would be better. Any help would be greatly appreciated gentlemen.

Today's Featured Article - Box Plow Blues - by Tom Schwarz. One of the first implements most tractor owners obtain is the box plow. For very little money, this piece of equipment promises to plow and flatten any hill or vale on your ranch road or farm. At least that's what I thought! As simple as a box plow appears, it can be rather challenging to make work correctly. In our sandy soils of Florida, traction is king. You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U ... [Read Article]
