Actually, the chipped gears are why I got the 2nd H to begin with. The first H had only a gallon of oil in the rear end when I drained it, along with 2 gallons of water. A couple of the seals were out and ruined the brake drum and another shaft. So I pulled the cover and found a bad bearing and chipped gears. This H had 7 gallons of really thick black goo in the rearend, I'm sure it was oil at one time, but at least there wasn't any water. This one was parked just because it wasn't worth anything on trade. Thanks for the hint! Steven
