I have a 560D that needs an overhaul. I had the head off a couple of years ago. I noticed a cracked sleeve in it. My question is when I put in new sleeves will high temp loctite keep them in place? It says it is good for 425 degrees. I don't want to bore it out for oversized sleeves if I don't have to. I am afraid that the sleeves will wind up in the pan if I don't try something like that. I would think that the bottom 1/3 of the sleeve wouldn't exceed 400 degrees since the water temp is 180 and oil usually runs at about 230 degrees. Just was wondering if anyone has used loctite. Thanks
