I removed the inspection plate on the bottom of the clutch housing. No pieces came out. And as far as I could tell everything looked good. No play in the throwout bearing. It all looked good. The past two days, I have used the tractor and it has acted normal. Not even any whinning noise. I know that my linkage is worn. There is no doubt about that. If you're not carefull, you can get it jammed up in two gears. But, it has never acted the way it has the other day when I pushed in the clutch and evrything still kept spinning. Another thing...I am suspecting that the TA is on its way out because when I start the tractor out with a load in torque and then release the clutch, it will start out fine but then will slow down to almost a complete stop as I start up a hill, then it will just move very slowly till I take it out of torque. Then it moves fine again. Is it possible that this has something to do with my clutch not working properly the other day? Thanks for all the help.
