I may be wrong, but I don't think they make sisal twine anymore. All I see is the plastic. I have a JD 346 that I just spent gobs of money on to get it to tie properly everytime. It works great now, but haying isn't any fun at all, especially since you can't hire kids any longer to pick up bales. I do have a bale wagon, but that doesn't get the hay in the barn. I plan to sell mine, and have a neighbor bale my 20 acres in round bales. Case/IH is still a good source for new parts, but a 46 is getting old... One nice thing about having it's own Wisconson motor, you can use a really small tractor to pull it around the field. The neighbors that have this type of baler just bale Timothy hay, so they don't seem to have to much problem with power.
