The proper torque for your head bolts is 65 ft. lbs. Someone is pulling your chain about dropping one plow on the turning row and putting the other one on. Also you don't back up with plows on a 3 point hitch. One way is to turn the soil with a set of gang disc. and then using a set of ridgers to pull your rows up. The equiptment you decribed on your tractor is correct and standard. I learned from the guys here that your Super A didn't come with a 3 point hitch, but it is very simple to install. The dealers would install them as optional equiptment if you wanted one. I don't know what kind of plows you have, but it sounds like turning plows. We hardly ever use them here.
