As everyone pointed out, the Super-A is more powerful. Another point is that the PTO on the cub is a lot more non-standard than the Super-A. It is non-standard size and turns the wrong direction. PTO driven implements are pretty much going to have to be cub implements. I did hear a story at my local implement dealer. Someone ordered a King Kutter (i think) tow behind mower for his cub without knowing about the PTO problem. When it wouldn't fit the PTO shaft, they sold him a PTO adapter - very common - they are in stock at this store. He then found out that the PTO shaft turned in the wrong direction, and they were able to find him reverse direction blades so he eventually got it working. If the cub has no implements with it, consider the cost and hastle of that in your decision. Also, at least in Western Massachusetts, a cub in the same condition as a Super-A would go for more $$ than the Super-A would. I think a lot of people want them to mow their 1/2 acre lots because they look cute. Supply and demand makes Super-A's cheaper.
