I was raised on a 50 acre farm with a cub and a A to run the farm. The cub had the hydralics so the mowing, plowing and blading was done by it. The a was used to pull the baler and the disk and the hay wagon. Basically beofre you can pick a tractor you need to pick the implements that you are going to use and then pick a tractor that will be capable to pull, poush or rotate those implements. The other issue is how long do you want to take to get the job done. You can get a lot done with a cub, it is just going to take longer. You can get even more done with a an A. For the record I just purchased a Super A with a three point conversion and it is taking care of the needs on my 5 acres. Just need a sickle bar mower for it. Good luck and let us know what you bought.
