hello farmallers! i have a 1940 model B in ugly
shape and need parts for it, i am looking for the whole seat and support system (mine came with a nasty home made setup) in its current condition its non running, needing a condenser and spark plugs (i actually found my last ones at napa auto,
points were super quality but the condenser sucked) i hope to convert to a distributor setup,
will i need anything besides the distrib, mount casting and the shaft unit? i just hate the unreliable imposible to start magneto setup it has... thing has been totally redone and it still kills condensers and points. **note to restorers! if you remove the front grill (if you didnt strip the inside) mine has the month and year painted inside by the factory! its very faint but its there and a neat little thing to see!** back a few years ago my dads 73 ford truck broke down, my farmall B towed the truck home (truck had a plow in the back too!) and the lil farmall was doing a steady 35Mph towing the truck! dont know how a fast they are suppost to go, but thats fast and strong!
