Depending on the weight of your disc/planter and the bore of your hyd cylinder, you may simply be working a beyond the capacity of the hydraulic system. The stock, engine-driven pump is rated at 1,200 psi - not exactly high pressure by today's standards. And after 45+ years of use, it is unlikely it develops full pressure anymore. You might try a larger bore cylinder if you've got one. It'll lift slower, but it will lift more...
