Your words make the effort put into that all the more worthwhile. You're most welcome, but I should be thanking you for the notoriety. The problem(s) we experienced with those hydraulics just drove us all nuts, but restricted time and resources lent themselves into not getting the work done. I simply got fed up with all that crap and tore into it. While the I&T manual for the -60 series is OK, it's a little lacking in troubleshooting ideas, IMO. So...the repair was certainly going to be a learning experience, thus I documented it for posterity's sake hopefully making it useful for others experiencing the same woes. It appears to have met my goals. I had a lot of fun doing that, and perhaps more is on the horizon. Just got done fixing the PS cylinder, piston and sector shaft on the 460 as well as replacing the upper bolster casting where all these items set up housekeeping. Turned out to be easier than I had suspected, but it helps to have a brawny brother around to horse that casting! Might do something about that although I neglected to take pics. Thank you!
