I'm not sure how rare they are. But I personally wouldn't pay $1700 for anything in that condition. Who knows what his reserve is. But like the old saying goes, it's worth what the next guy will pay. I saw an H make a few go-arounds on e-bay not too long ago. It was bid on every time, and the reserve was never met. It went up to $1200 and the reserve still wasn't met. Finally people gave up, and it went through twice with no bids. I don't know if he sold it, but he may have lost some interested buyers.
