SH Termostat.

Had to pull the genny so thought I might as well pull the thermostat housing and check it. Remember I wrote that the engine seemed to be running cool and could a thermostat fail in the open position? And I could see the coolant running into the radiator immediately after start. Well the thermostat didn't fail in the open position. It failed completely. Came out in three pieces. New one at IH is 24.95! Now no coolant transfer at start up. Gordo Moral: If it walks like a duck.....
