Yes on the T/A and the MCV is the the control valve that controls the steering, brakes, T/A pressures for high and low along with the lubing of the rear end and cooling of the hyd. oil. IT takes a couple gauges to do this with the correct fittings and one special test tool and there is another test that rquires a Flow Rater that checks the amount of hyd. oil being pumped by the Hdy. pump on the MCV . this is best left to the guys that have all the toys to play with and know how to play with them . the TelTALE lite is that big red lite that is on the lower right face of the right hand side of the dash and should come on everytime that you push the clutch down or be on before ya start the engine. This lite tells ya that the MCV has lost it's pressure or that the dump valve has been tripped by the clutch , this also allowes for easier shifting of the transmissions . . You also could be sucking air in the center section as when ya slow down all the fluid moves foward and allowes the air to be sucked into the MCV thus causing the T/A to unlock but this will also cause the steering to get stiff and lack of brakeing. You could try running the hyd. a couple to three gallon over full and see if this just goes away .If it does then the next time that the tractor is split a new O/Ring where the speed transmission and range transmission come together will get a new O/Ring if the guy that is doing the work knows what he is doing. On the computer i can not check it out myself and i sure can't make a service call unless you are REAL CLOSE TO me .
