I bread shih-tzu"s I don"t do it for a living but rather as to spread the joy that comes from having one. I cannot belive you would even consider letting a father breed with its off-spring. If you really care about the breed you would not let a dog inbreed! I know people think that breeders inbreed, but i can tell you that any breeder who has any concern for the well being of the puppies would NOT inbreed. We go back at least 3 generations to make sure there not inbreeding. Inbreeding can lead to serious complications and abnormalities! If we keep a male that is related to any of our bitches we make sure to get him nutered as to safe gaurd against inbreeding. You can do what you wanna do.. Heck if you want you can date your mom too. I mean some people do it! That is a really rotton way to think just because some people do it dosent mean you should do it.
