What you want is sodium carbonate. Also called soda ash. You can get at some farmer's co-op stores where they sell feed, fertilizer, etc. in 50 lb bags. Failing that go to Walmart to the swimming pool supplies and get Ph up which is used to increase Ph in swimming pools. It will come in a 4 or 5 pound plastic jug and will tell you right on the label that it is 98 percent sodium cabonate or some such. Also you can get it at a home supply store such as Lowe's or Home depot that have pool supplies or any pool supply house.
