140 and 309 planter

Gonna retire one these days. Looking forward to farming again. About 40-60 acres. Was thinking about getting a decent used two row tractor or buying a new one. About decided to use the 2 140's I have and keep the money in my pocket. Both tractors in good shape and have most equipment for them. Would be mostly beans. But since corn has risen thinking about using as a rotation. Have an Int 10 grain drill. And two 184 Int 184 1 row planters. Also have a 2 row 309 with a 1 point hitch. Just not enthused about planting 10-20 acres corn one row at time with 45 inch rows. 309 is set on 45' inch. Do not want to plant right behind tire with 45' row which is what tractor set too. Can move planter in to 37' and half which would make this better. Or could set up toolbar maybe plant 3 or 4 rows with tractor but had rather use the 309 planter already have. Interested in ideas of how to plant more rows without planting behind the tire. Has anyone set up a one row tractor and done this before? Appreciate thoughts. Thanks. Figure could handle my 40 acres ok with tractor and still not be too busy that could'nt fish when want too.....
