If it is an injector, a word of advice, find it soon. We waited a year or two to fix it and partly burned diesel fuel began leaking out of the head. I had to use 2 coats of engine cleaner/ degreaser and a chisel, toothbrush, electric wire brush, and wooden dowels to clean the goo off of the head to just GET to the injector to take it out. It took 20 minutes to drain the coolant and change the injector. It took like 3 or 4 HOURS to clean the black goo to get to the injector.
