There are a set of rollers in the ramp that wear due to misuse that are usually the problem. This is caused by free wheeling over hill and letting the tractor overrun the unit. If you have a manual it will show this set up. If not you will need one. The tractor will have to be split to make repairs. The last set I put in was around 200 bucks for new rollers,springs,retainer plugs.
