The Finale page is updated on my site. The tinwork is now painted along with the seat parts. I got a new spring and shock absorber and another used seat bracket that was hardly weathered at all. I will probably replace the tin down the road.

I have the light shells mounted and HOPEFULLY I have a good ground on each one. I did some carefull filing this time around to make sure I have a ground from the light base to the deck.

I have to work on the oil pressure guage line. It is leaking at the base next to the oil filter. Might have to get another line.

I drained the liftall yesterday. Good news, clean oil. Bad news, only 1/2 quart came out. Since it was hooked up, I bet I have damage to the pump.

I will pull the rocker arm assembly tonight and re-torque the head bolts. I will of course re-check valve gap clearances when I re-install the rocker arms.

At hour 10 I will change oil, filter, drain the water and add anti-freeze and prob. replace the water jacket inspection plate with one that is not as pitted. I will also drop the oil pan and apply red silicone sealer to the pan and gasket.

At the end of this week I will add the decals.

I have spent 40 hours over the last 4 days and I am tired. I came to work to rest. :)

For very little money, this piece of equipment promises to plow and flatten any hill or vale on your ranch road or farm. At least that's what I thought! As simple as a box plow appears, it can be rather challenging to make work correctly. In our sandy soils of Florida, traction is king. You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U ... [Read Article]
