Hello! I am the proud owner of a 1956 IHC model S152 farm truck, which we have owned for over thirty years. It originally had a BD264 engine, then was refitted with a BD220. The 220 has a bad knock, so rather than fix it, I would like to convert the truck to a diesel engine. A D282 or a D301 would work with my flywheel and housing. I would probably need to turbocharge it to gain enough horsepower for highway use. The 715 Diesel combine used a D301. Does anyone have one of these engines for sale, in good condition? Also, are turbochargers available for the 282/301? I have seen them on a few 706 and 560 diesel tractors. I am located in Saint Paul, MN. I am a diesel mechanic at Cummins North Central. I am also interested in finding parts for a UV-549 industrial gasoline engine. Thanks! Merlin the Tractor Guy
