The big question is not if the MTA is up to the job,but the history of the 32 acres.If the field has been no-tilled to death like most rented ground,you'll have hardpan ,residual chemicals,and generally depleted soils.Find out some of the history of the past 4 or 5 years,take random soil samples and follow the recomendations of the soil conservation people.As for upgrading, if you already have a descent plow,disc, spring tooth and drill,why would you change now?That 32 acres can get darn exspensive if you buy new equiptment.
