...the conversion was done well & it wasn't an ensin, as those parts are hard to get in our area. Dad farmed 800A w/factory LPG SM for more than 20 years with no mechanical problems. The only problems encountered were that it had to come home to the 1000 gal LP tank that was also used for the house furnace when it needed fuel (it would use more than a tank full on a big day) & it didn't like SD winters (had to be plugged in like a diesel) but this probably could have been solved by a 12V system. It was really clean running. Dad used to change oil 2X a year-10W in winter & 30W in spring when field work started. It never took more than a quart between changes. It sold for less than $800 on his sale about 15 years ago & it had $400 worth of year old tires on it. Nobody wanted LPG, I guess, as his 300 w/rags for tires & TA out went for ablut $1200. What a waste, as the SM was a WAY BETTER tractor. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
