For some reason I'm unable to respond to your post below. Here's what I was trying to say: You need a power steering gearbox out of a 300U, 350U or (so I've heard) a 460U. You will also need the safety/regulator/flow control valve from that same tractor, as the P/S safety/regulator/flow control valve includes a priority valve that isn't in the non-P/S unit. It provides priority flow to the P/S unit, which I would think is an important safety feature. Add a couple hoses, one that goes from the back of the safety/regulator/flow control valve to the P/S gearbox valve body and the other from the valve body to the reservoir, generally directly under the fast-hitch cylinder forward mounting location. To get at the steering gearbox you gotta remove the instrument panel and gas tank, and the only tough part is getting the throttle control unhooked 'cause some goofball didn't want to use a cotter pin and stuck a nail in there and bent it over real good. Good luck, and when you get your power steering gearbox, make sure you know what tractor it came off so you can get parts in the future. Good luck.

You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U
